A quick question answered before i buy please.
Afternoon folks, i'm just about to order a MAGNEX complete 3" de-cat turbo back system with a 6"X4" oval exit. I appreciate it narrows to 2 1/2 at the end of the down pipe for OE exhausts.
I've spoken with Magnex direct and they tell me it was never made to be really noisey, "Just nice?". Whats that supposed to mean???
Does anyone who anyone who has this system fitted to there car and if so what does it sound like??
And lastly am i write in thinking my 2001 JDM STI has a 3 point solanoid as standard??

I used to run a magnex system on my 02 bugeye, nice burble, not enough to worry the neighbours but started to bark more loudly at 4000 RPM
I'm not sure about the boost solenoid for your model. My Euro bugeye certainly came with a 2 port !!

Magnex generally come out at the top of the power, but a long way down in terms of noise volume in most comparative tests, if you want a nice subdued yet 'purposefull' sounding noise with good power, magnex (or H&S) are safe bets.

I own an 02 WRX and have fitted the Magnex decat down pipe and system with the 6x4 tailpipe. Sound is great without being too boomy.
One guy I worked with who rallyed an Escort used to wait for me to go to hear the sweet sound. Even phoned his codriver one time so he could hear.
