I wouldn't put the locking ones on my car mate, I've heard of ******* cutting the whole valve off just to get the locking ones off at their leisure.

I use steel caps from Halfords. Nice and robust, about £1.75 and not attractive to the *******.

electrify the rims - they'll only do it once, a spare coil pack should provide sufficient charge to give a clear warning

I went back to plastic ones myself. Young ******* used pliers to twist the anti-theft ones off. Silly thing is I live in a tiny village so could only be a choice of about 10 teenagers on their bikes... accidentally reversed over a wheel of abike left in the road t'other day...

Isn't the air meant to be a bugger to get into those flush fit valves?

I use the spinning valves and they work well, pikey kids leave those alone but were even sad enough to nick the standard el cheapo black ones i tried

I have had no problems so far, touch wood. You have to screw in a little adapter that brings the valve out a bit when putting in air. Its ok once you have done it a few times.
