A couple of questions:
Have you raised it with eBay?
Did you pay via PayPal?
You should be able to get your money back without too much hassle if you completed the purchase in the recommended manner.

Seems to be a few sellers registered in Oldham who have appeared and disappeared in recent months.
They seem to advertise Audi and Subaru parts usually.
What was the previous name of this seller?

I had a similar thing with an eBay item too.
I was away from home when I bought the item, paid via PayPal, and then by the time I got home some weeks later, I had forgotten that I'd bought it.
When I realised, I got onto PayPal and eBay, but it was outside the time limit for raising a dispute.
I was fortunate that it was only about (IIRC) 30 quid, so I just put it down to experience. Tried several times to contact the seller (who used Scoobynet too), but no luck.
Good luck with your dispute...hope you get your money back. If your cheque guarantee card is a Visa, you may be able to get some recompense from Visa themselves. A mate of mine did some time ago.

You should allways use Paypal to buy things, i never use anything else, and allways make sure your paypal fees *** off your credit card, that way if Paypal cant get you a chargeback thn you can just take it up with your credit card people and claim your money back that way.
