Not sure but i think i read somewhere that u shouldnt top yr oil up ,u should do a compleate oil change ,is this right?, and what oil should i be looking at getting to put in a bugeye?

Top up away, generally speaking you can top up with want you want, there are few times when mixing oils is an issue. For exampe forget the old "don't mix synthetic and no-synthetic" thats about as sensible as drowning people to prove they aren't a which.
