You could have opened up a can of worms here!

If I can I use V power, Esso Super, Waitrose & Sainsburys Super. I have a can of Millers Octane boost just in case all I can get is " Donkey Dirt"

Have used Ultimate, no thoughts one way or another however, do notice a difference after V Power.

Hope this helps.

Kind regards.

Shell.

A can of worms, indeed! But I think it's fair to say that most people on here seem to find V-Power and Tesco Super Unleaded work best on their cars.

Yes, Tesco supermarket, but it must be 99 ron, which not all outlets sell.

Sainsburys and Waitrose super is supposed to be BP ultimate, so only use it if it's cheap or you can't get Shell V-Power or Tesco 99.

I switched from Vpower because no local garage and was costing me a gallon just to go and get it. Now using BP Ultimate with no difference in performance at all. Some guys use standard unleaded but I would not go that far unless you're stuck. Manual says it will run on anything from 95 ron, but recommends 97/98. Depends on the car I guess, mine is a 05 STi PPP.
