Will a Prodrive backbox from '03 wrx fit my MY96 uk 2000???

Will do if you cut off the single hanger at one end of the silencer and just use the two at the other end to secure the box.....

Don't even need to cut it off: it's not interfering with anything over the wrong side: I've seen the Prodrive pipe on a classic. Not sure about the long-term use though - if Subaru didn't think a middle hanger was needed, why fit one?

some of the aftermarket ones purposely leave off the bracket so as to make them universal.

it just needs the hanger moved and it will fit ! i have done similar before
