Default Changing battery on Forester keyfob.

Keyfob wasn't working when I picked up car yesterday so I went to replace battery today and there isn'y one in it. Just wondering when I replace battery is there any procedure to get it working again or will it work automatically?

Rob.

I`m not sure. The only tip I can give you is don`t buy it from a stealer, your local shop/supermarket sells them for a fraction of the price.

Depends on age, if its the original Sigma alarm (97-01) with the seperate fob, you need two CR2025 batteies, press TWICE and it works fine.
