Heading into the Wandsworth one-way system Friday evening, I pulled over as I heard a siren behind me. Imagine my surprise to see a Scooby with blue flashing lights and "ambulance" stickers all over it go screaming past. I chased it for a while (hey, I'm a lawyer: that's what I do ...) but had to stop at a red light and lost it. Only saw it from behind, and it was dark, but it looked like a new-shape WRX only with a high P1-style rear spoiler.
I guess this is one of those rapid response vehicles to get the paramedics to the scene quickly, and not something for transporting sick people in . Is this a first?
I used to work at a hospital a good few years back with an emergency responce unit (for the M3) they where looking at cars so I offered them a ride in my 5 door and they have been using them ever since.
