Default Afterburner Vortex

I'm 99% sure i'll be purchasing one of these bad boys with the straight through mid pipe, but ive done a search and have found some fellew Snetters have had a few allignment issues when fitting which has now got me thinking i should be looking at other systems. Basically i dont want it delivered and then when i take it to be fitted the bloke ***** it up or has to modify it in some way

Never had a problem at all with either my unresonated centre or my backbox M8. I even fitted them myself and to me a socket set's a precision tool

Another 05 STi owner - I fitted mine in about 5 minutes, perfect alignment, looks and sounds great. I don't really see how you would come to have any problems aligning it really...

Hi, I'm one of the ones whose suffered alignment problems. Scoobyworld will back you up with great service so you haven't really got anything to lose. Even after my intial problems I would still highly recommend.

I fitted the backbox and centre section first, to be honest I was a little disappointed with the results as reading posts on here I was expecting it to be much louder, did sound sweet though and instantly makes you grin. I've recently fitted the cat pipe and thats made all the difference, up to the noise level I first expected.....

I've has an AB centre & ninja backbox. It did need some slight adjustments to stop it knocking.

Also, i've seen an install of a Ninja 2 centre & backbox. He also had problems, a little worse than mine, enough to complain about.

So fitting maybe a little iffy. But the finish, sound etc is very good.
