WATER SUPPLY LEAK.....PLS ADVISE!
Guys I need help
I live in the 3 valleys water area and on Friday a representative came round and done a few tests on the water supply. He's found that I've got a leak somewhere on my water supply between the main street stop valve and my kitchen stop valve. Sounds expensive
Spoke to 3 Valleys today who just said to contact the Institute of Plumbing and Engineering who will put me in the direction of local registered plumbers.
Surely its not a simple job of contacting a local plumber to do the work?
Has anyone had a similar misfortune before? If so can you offer some advice?
I've yet to check my building and contents insurance policy details, but knowing my luck it won’t be covered
I'm thinking this is gonna be EXPENSIVE? Tell me I'm wrong!
Thanks in advance

Depends if you fancy getting your hands dirty doing a bit of the labor yourself, I asked a similar question few months back regarding replacing a lead pipe supplying my gaff.
If this thread doesn't get moved for you then you should post it in the diy section, thats where I got my answers.
