Default Holy crap, its all ordered now! New car

Didnt think I had the ***** to go through with it, but clearly I have.
All ordered pending finance being agreed, which should not be a problem.

After telling them no no no no no to loads of extras like parking sensors, paint and interior guard, DVD/Sat Nav install etc.. We finally got down to the nitty gritty.

So...... An Obsidian Black Subaru Impreza WRX is on order. Being delivered from Edinburgh some time next week. Then its time to get to Peterborough to collect the car.

In the meantime, mine needs to pop to the body shop to be prepped for P/X

Blimey, im all scared and excited now hehe

Nice one, chuffed for you mate (know how you're feeling at the moment).

Hope you have better luck with this one.

Lovely colour choice BTW.

Hehe cheers Lee, I hope so too mate.
The little incident did me a favour in the end, the settlement for it is paying for the whole car to be prepped for sale

I was hard pushed to get black as I had a black vectra before and I get really **** about keeping it clean lol.

Bushi will dive in and take a gander now mate.

The next few weeks will be SO slow!

Holy moley Bushi, how much was that rear spoiler.

While I dont want to copy an STi or RB320, im keen to take some ideas from them

Is this your first scoob or had them before, just wondered what you thought between the 2.0 and 2.5

my first scooby and the spoiler was £400 from scoobyworld not bad when you take into account that normal ones can be around £300 plus paint

lol its my second one so I appreciate the depreciation. I should keep it for the 3 years, so even if it dropped 3 grand a year I will still have something to PX next time lol

Yeah its just nice to know I will be the first driver, no hidden suprises etc

Love driving hire cars when they are brand new, so figured it was about time I was responsible for every part of a car, rather than another s/h car.

only thing with mine was it came with the worlds cheapest car mats made from super strength aroma rubber so the new car smell was a bit............rubbery, needless to say i have ordered the tailored mats from Autostyle quality car mats. Personalised car mats designed to fit any vehicle.

Down the road from there in Forest Hill Local boy lol.

Yup the new one will end up in the park too to get some pics taken. Already have the collection day planned out.

Collect car, drive to Camberley in Surrey, meet a mate who is a god with cars (owner of A world for detailers...) Get the car properly cleaned and coated in Xymol Vintage, then off to the park to meet a photographer mate to get some snaps. I will take my own, but want some proper ones too

As for the bias, fair play mate Would love to meet up some point to get some pics together. A standard WRX and an RB320, make me realise how basic my car is lol

Awesome stuff.

Mind if I ask roughly how much you're looking at paying monthly on finance for a new WRX?

Cool, hopefully the car will be a little more recognisable than the plain silver one I have now
Look forward to seeing a few of you out and about

Maybe a few of us locals can get together up the Palace while the weather is nice

Beechdale Motors in Derby had 4 brand new WRX for 17k this week. I was tempted, but have spent too much on my own 03 WRX to get rid for another basic car. That is well cheap for a proper UK dealership car.

Well................

Just got the call from Motorpoint about the finance, apparently they needed to go thru a couple of things with me to finalise etc.

After a few questions, a little bit of waiting......... it was bad news

Im officially in nine and a half grand of debt, and the owner of a brand new Subaru Impreza WRX in Obsidian Black.
Just got to arrange signing and collecting now.
Prob not for a couple of weeks, but definatly going to happen.
