Has anyone converted their import subaru to unleaded and what are the costs,etc

All cars have been running without lead for years, to my knowledge you cannot buy leaded even in Japan.

Buddy,

Are you talking about getting a wrx/sti car to tun on 95 Ron Unleaded rather than 97 Ron Super?

Buddy,

I believe this would involve replacing the ECU as the original unit cannot retard the ignition far enough.

yep basically you are looking at a new ECU and a remap, budget for a grand. Get a decent map on 95 and you'll probably end up with the same/ more power anyway
