I recently fitted Eibachs to my MY96 4 door in conjunction with new standard dampers ( bought second hand on ScoobyNet ) and am severly impressed. Handling and ride greatly improved.

Can you lot please stop saying how good the Eibachs are! I am trying to resist the temptation to buy them. (This year )

I had Eibachs on mine when I had the car delivered and have since had them removed....Turn in was great, ride was too harsh and the tyres wore quickly in conjunction with the Prodrive geometery settings on an STi v4. I liked the handling but with my short journey to work every day it wasn't to comfy when I just wanted to snooze my way to work. Also a highly recommended Subaru servicer and rally car preparer strongly recommended getting rid of them.
My advice would be try and find someone at a meet or track day with these springs and see what you think.... I dont really regret getting rid of mine but then I drive like a wuss

It seems Eibach is the way to go then. Obviously doesn't suit all drivers but the mass opinion can't be wrong. For those of you unaware we offer these at a BB special price of £130.00 inc. VAT and are currently in stock

all the best guys

Unfortunately we do not have the facilities to offer a fitting service on this product. Hopefully the price we supply them at will leave you sufficient funds to arrange local fitting

cheers

I am tempted, how do I know if my dampers are still up to spec though ? seems a waste not to do the whole thing if you are gonna be whipping wheels of and stuff

If the springs are lower, do you not get problems on bumpy roads though ? bottoming out and the like ?

Doing a search or even looking in the 'Suspension' section may offer a wider variety of options, but if you want some more info on the Eibachs have a look at

The Eibach springs are designed to be used with either standard dampers or uprated as long as they have standard type spring platforms. Far be it for me to advise on whether you should change the dampers as well or not - this is your decision. However if the original dampers are in good nick you should have no problems mixing the two. The shocks should not bottom out with these springs fitted they are not low enough.

Hope this helps

Fitted set of Eibach (brought from Amber) on MY00 and am very impressed.
The car seems more composed over ruff roads, only about 10-15cm lower so doesn't have to much problem going over the many speed humps.
Well worth the money but consider the bump steer and you then have a great setup.
