I am currently recovering from a cold contracted at this years RAC and have decided to do a warmer rally next year.
Mrs Snake has agreed to let me go to Catalunya next year, but I don't know the dates.
Can anyone help?

Maybe we can have a meet out there. I'm up for going also, as is Mrs. S. They can all sunbathe and shop whilst we get on with watching the rally.

It has now become a toss up between Cyprus and Spain.
Who do I contact to find out where in the respective countries the stages are run so that I can book accommodation?

Snake,
Cyprus event was held based in Limassol this year then ventured up into the mountains.. as far as i know the format will be the same again for next year.
Limassol is a popular resort so plenty of hotels and apartments/villas there to rent at reasonable prices.

Dear Snake
I have been to the Catalunya rally for the last 2 years and hope to go again in 2001 the dates are around the 20th March.
We normally travel down on the Tuesday overnight and get to Loret Del Mar on Wednesday AM. Really good blast through France during the early hours.
Spend the next day at Shakedown/Prodrive hospitality (if we are lucky).
Rally starts Friday good blasts to stages over 3 days expect about 1000 miles then chill out for a day then head home.
Total milage about 3000 miles
Costs
Fuel £500
Hotel £100
Chunnel £120
Tolls £60
Food £200
total for 2 people about £1000.00
Best driving you will ever get.!!!!!!!!!

Tired isn't the word for it, and I am greatly appreciative of the service and catering you and your RS provided (especially the mulligastrone soup - Snake's special blend of mulligatawny and minestrone )
