Without pics/more info its hard to give a more accurate estimate... but a car is only really worth what people are willing to pay and I'd only pay around £9,000 for that car on the info you put up there. I think you'd be lucky to get someone to spend 12500-13000 on that car mate.

For that price I'd want absolutely minimal miles (sub 20k), full history showing servicing on time rather than mileage and blemish free interior, engine and bodywork. Either that or a massive amount of mods (rebuild/turbo/suspension/wheels etc) carried out at reputable places with a huge folder of receipts.

Cheers,
Grant

I'd have to agree £7.0-9.5K IMHO

But you could always just try in the For Sale section

That car has been for sale there for AGES... Literally, been sitting there for over 2 years, they've dropped the price 500 quid in that time. The place sells really nice genuine cars and I dont think I've heard bad things about them, other than the fact that their prices are pretty optomistic on most/if not all of the cars they sell.

Have a look around the For Sale Sections on here, you'll find a LOT more for your money.

Grant

I was going to look at it 18monts ago but ended buying a local one "V"reg Type R Ver 5

Agree from what i've heard quality Cars but at Top Whack probably quite some room for bargining for Cash sale but is it worth over £10K

Tony

BTW. I Sold "V" reg one 12 months ago for £10K and at one stage look like I might have had to drop it to £8K to sell it

If £9K was waved under his nose it might be hard for him to refuse, but it couldnt be good for a car sitting for 18-24 months could it?

I'm sure you got a better deal than the one advertised up here Tony..

Coming over with 9k cash is a big gamble to take if travelling from Norn Irrn mate.. Like I said, he doesnt seem to sell poor quality cars, so the fact its still sitting there doesnt really mean its a bad car. But it could quite possibly mean that he isn't willing to budge on price by the required amount to make it a sensible buy.. its dropped 500quid in that time and the once 'optional' 18" OZ P1WRC Wheels seem to be included in the price now too.

Cheers,
Grant
