Currently surfing the web looking for a Civic/Integra intake pipe for my proposed induction kit mod in the new year (the Honda pipes fit the MR2 perfectly), and came accross this picture from a guy in Manchester somewhere.

Do my eyes deceive me or is that actually drainpipe material being used for an intake pipe

Talking

And this is his reasoning:

"The air intake I replaced myself. I decided to rip out the entire factory filter box and intake pipe and replaced it with 3-inch drainpipe, which narrows to 2 1/2 inch drainpipe in an effort to increase airflow by utilising the ventuli effect. On the end sits a big K&N."

Cant even spell the Venturi effect, never mind achieve it!!!

Cool

Do you have an MR2 Turbo or N/A?

I have a K&N and K&N induction pipe sat in my garage that fits a N/A.

It is even more funny that the car he is fitted it to is a Nova..
No Scoop though than god...

ho ho JGM

Jolly Green Monster 2

It is an NA so I would be very interested in what you have there

Please email me with details, and how much you want for the lot to induction@kreature.co.uk.

I have been after a kit for ages but couldnt find anyone that had one going spare.

What sort of condition is it in? Age/use? What size is it?

Cheers
DW

PS The car in the picture is an old style Civic, but with them mods I can understand why you thought it was a Nova
