Default Insurance advice / best place

HI,

i need insurance for my car.
wondering if anyone can recomend a company.
how do i go about the mods... FMIC, diffrent kit , diffrent vents.
do i tell them?
will you be covered for the vaule of the standard car say like cap / glasses value or do they cover your mods aswell?

dont mind paying for decent service and a good company thats not going to let me down.

thanks.

A-Plan. -- Check out the insurance section on here for their details.

Yes, tell about mods otherwise you basically have NO insurance.
They do like-for-like against mods, so you're covered.

Give Gary Moulson (moley WRX on here) a call at Keith Michaels. 020 82880275.

Yup declare your mods. One thing i have heard with A Plan is that even declared they don't pay out for them in the event of a claim - how true this is i don't know as i didn't have to claim when covered with them. Guess you have to specifiy it when taking out your policy.

You also have to notify them of any new mods during the course of your policy of course. But to give you some idea I recently declared decat up-pipe, PPP high flow down-pipe, remap, STi7 wheels and morette's on my bugeye and was charge 20quid extra for 9 remaining months with Aplan.
