Question

I have just bought a new number plate and was after a shorter plate. I intend to keep the letters the same size and spacing, but as I now have alot less of them I wanted the plate to be shorter.

Does any no of anywhere in the East Midlands that will make a smaller set for me?

Cheers

Martyn

try gtgrafix.co.uk - you can order on -line customised plates - very quick delivery and very nice quality plates.

On a similar subject, anyone know where I can get stick-on type plates made up, i.e. ones that could be applied to a bonnet or moulded onto a low spoiler?

Martin,

I too used gt grafix, although the plates had to be redone cos I wasn't happy with them and their 'customer service' was poo.

They did however make the plates to the sizes I wanted, and I have a smaller front plate with GB logo.It does look better than a full sized one (only 5 characters in reg no).Rather than specify the size, I asked them to make the plate as small as possible, but with legal spacing/font.
Hope this helps.

AFR,
Hi - I have a stick on on my lower spoiler lip. Got the blank white stick-on plate and individual letters from a shop up the road from me called Motorax...try your local 'car bits' place. Cost was about £5 all in. You have to stick on letters yourself but the backing they are on has holes at corners so to get correct spacing you just line the holes up of the letters next to each other. Hard to explain but you'll see what I mean..

cheers,
Matt

Give Mike a call at http://www.capitalnumbers.com

He's a top bloke - will talk your design over with you, make em up and post em - customer service is pretty good too IMHO.

Plantie used them for his plates..........

Not connected, just know there are a lot worse places
