And the dyno says....
225 BHP and 225 FTLB, its not a massive figure and I'm happy with that. Its a MY98 uk tubby with just a scoobysport back box, JR panel filter and a BOV. The dyno guy did say that the car is running spot on with no fueling issues at all.

It's a piece of test equipment! and like all such kit, it has to be set up for the best possible test. The car has to be brought up to temp as well as cooled, tyres grip better warm, and the operator has to do a few runs for checking purposes and consistency. Your operator has done the correct thing, by placing emphasis on the AFR result. The figure is what the figure is, important, but by no means indicative of fitness of purpose.

I would think that the actual number is of little significance - the change in that number if any mods are carried out would be the reason for doing a Dyno Test I would have thought?
But, then, different day - different result, even for the same car?

Forgive me for being stupid, but, why would a GREEN Filter increase power?
What about a Blue one? Red? Or say, a striped yellow/orange one? Would a Polka Dot one give patchy power increases?

Changing the subject slightly, but we did have one guy come in who wanted us to paint his Evo 6 intercooler black, as he'd been told it would be more efficient. Nothing we said about it could make him change his mind, so we just did as the Man asked!

I was comparing the 215bhp of a std car on 95 ron with yours on VPower with a Scoobyworld backbox.
