Has anybody seen this?
Problem Found with Speed Cameras in Germany
It doesn't say but I presume they are talking about Gatsos? If so, this *may* be an argument to get cameras in this country outlawed? (I live in hope)
Matt.

hope indeed... this place is getting worse and worse, I *hate* cameras. I realise that they are needed in some places but they really are blatent revenue generators. As always the british public will do nothing until we are in fortress britain.

Would be an interesting defence to bring up in court that tests carried out in Germany have brought the accuracy of the cameras into doubt though....

To test it further, he mounted a metal plate on a speaker, turned up the volume and drove past the gun at 30mph with the boot open and the speaker pointing back. The gun gave speeds of over 100mph.

I thought that the all speed cameras had the lines on the road so that the pictures taken show how far has been travelled in a set time, and hence the speed.
If that's the case I can't see our cameras being deemed innaccurate. Of course, I suppose we could all drive past loads of times with speakers hanging out of the boot just to use the films up
