Default Service Question (quite urgent)

Morning.

Well, they say once you sell a scooby 'you will be back'...

that's me (possibly). off to look at an MY04 WRX... can someone in the know tell me when the cam belt service is please?. I am unsure if it's at 45 or 60k.

Many thanks in advance

Rich

When purchasing my WRX STI i got a quote on all services from 30,000 to 70,000 from SGT (BERKS). It was all over a simple email quoting which mileage, exact cost and what is included in each service. I got the reply within a couple of hours

50k for the cambelt.
every 30k for major fluid services.

So in reality, a car with 49k that has had neither services will cost you a fair bit in the coming year. Compare this to a 60k one thats just had all its servicing done!

My 50k Cambelt service was'nt that bad @ £280 done by Zak @ Mocom racing.

IMO not worth paying main stealer prices for servicing once out of warranty
