scoobysport or H&S backbox?????
My car has what i believe to be a scoobysport backbox fitted to it (99 classic turbo) as well as a full de cat, anyway my question is a friend with a classic has a H&S backbox which looks very similar but slightly stubbier, the main thing is his sounds much nicer, deeper, slightly louder than mine, and its the sound i want, so is mine the later janspeed backbox and his the original h&s backbox as i am led to believe the janspeed is the quieter of the 2. can anyone verify this. will i have to buy direct from h&s for the original

Scoobysport (Janspeed) as fitted to my old classic. I think the sound is slightly quieter, however it still sounds great and in my view the build quality is much better.
The tailpipe does protrude futher than the H&S, about an inch or so too far in my opinion, although I still had the center cat if that makes any difference.

H&S were the makers of the original Scoobysport exhausts & have been fitted to many a scoob with good results for years. I've not had either the H&S or the Janspeed one myself though, so cant personally comment...
