Great drive from Richard , especially after Friday morning when we didn't think he would make it to Service @ Builth Wells!
He did everything he had to do, just Marcus did too with a very sensible drive.
Congratulations to both of them!
Colin was fast, but up to his old habits
Juha was flamboyant, as ever, a joy to watch (will he be back?)
Sainz was suffering from a dose of bad luck.
Tommi was terrific, but those Evos don't half hang out at the back.
Solberg & Marco Martin look good for next season
The frog-eyed cheating Frog was learning what mud & gravel really was like.
The Skodas were LOUDER than the fireworks
The Seat's will be missed, just about getting themselves sorted. Where are they all going next year???
The Welsh weather did it's best to dampen the spirits but the facilities were better and the crowds were not as bad as expected.
Even the coppers were better than usual!
As for the passes - it was nice to be able to change your mind as to which car park to use - (that will confuse the analysts!)
Shame the barcode readers weren't a bit more reliable - perhaps they should get some girls in from Tesco's
Looking forward to 2001
Chris

My one claim to fame . . . . .
Overtaking Richard Burns on the M4 on the way from Margam to Cardiff yesterday!!
Yep, lots and lots of Scoobies, but where were the waves?!

Well done to Richard for the win.
But I bet he's kicking himself for slowing down in Australia and throwing away a 40sec lead, then lost the rally by 2secs.
He would have been World Rally Champion but instead decided on some dodgy tactics that threw the rally into a farce.
