At the Final Service after Richard had just won the 2000 Network Q Rally Great Britain he had the pleasure of meeting our Subie Gal.

Jamie is on her way home right now. It was a huge pleasure to spend the last few days in her company.

A big thankyou to Simon De Banke and Clare at Prodrive for arranging this and of course to Richard for taking time out from his family and fiancé (ex?? LOL) to meet Jamie. I think he made a good decision.

Now then, who is more pleased to see who????

A most excellent time.... the rally was awesome!

But the best part was seeing Jamie's face as Richard actually walked over and kissed her... incredible.

Excellent pics chaps.. I will try and upload the video footage sometime.

i am still in shock - but aren't those photos GREAT??? Hey Chris, Ian - I want copies!

i had a <B>BLAST</B> and the topper was meeting BURNSY... but the rally itself was fantastic!!! Saw some amazing stuff - rally cars of my dreams, got both Juha's autographs, got to eat my favorite - steak and kidney pie and to finish it off, brought home some mud from wales

incredible, incredible time!!

Hello one and all and here is what I was originally going to say!

Superb photos all round everyone and what a blooming marvellous business trip (ahem!) down to Cardiff!

Many, many thanks to Pete C and Jason Barker from Lamborghini UK who really made by week when inviting me along to the Rally Drivers Ball on the Wednesday night! Got Burnsies autograph on the programme (!! !!) and saw McRae, David Lapworth and Malcolm Wilson plus Peta Solberg etc. We did get told off for firing ***** (on table!) at Richard as we got his girlfriend with virtually every shot! Big hi to Stu and Andy as well - good to meet you! Jason and Pete were contmeplating putting a bid in during the charity auction for the trip as a guest of Prodrive to the 2001 Aus rally.

This was put on the back burner when the first bid was five grand.

Thursday involved some work and then a drive out to the Welsh lanes in Pete's RA - we found some superb roads and even managed a few jumps!!!! In the evening it was off to The Super Special stage and many thanks to Pete for the spare pass. We all met up in the VIP grandstand (!) and it was great to meet Jamie, and see Ian, Paul, John F and Jay! (Nice hat mate!).

Last but not least great to see Richard Sq. and family again, and hope the car is better soon! (Harj must be going mental!).

All in all, a fantastic trip and again, special thanks to Pete and Jason.

Glad she enjoyed it. (You are welcome mate, thanks) Clare was fantastic about it. Also great to see Richard take time out at a point where he would probably have rather been partying with his family / friends, etc. Top Lad!
