boost solinoid help.
i orderd a prodrive boost solinoid from the states about 2weeks ago for my remap this sat, but i dont think its gonna be here on time, so if i get my car mapped on a borrowed old type metal unit will it still be ok to fit my new prodrive one when it comes or do these all work diffrent?

The boost solenoid helps the mapper (?) so it would be best to have the proper one. Why not cancel the states one (taken too long) & get another from the UK? May be some in the For Sale section too?
