pull it off carefully, wet'n'dry the back which will take it back to clear plastic with the chrome stars still visible in the recess. Then repaint any colour you can get from Halfrauds.

Should take about 10 mins to wet'n'dry then a little bit of painting time....

Think scott is saying to gently pull of the badge you got then rub down and paint then re stick back onto grill So yes it will fit if done this way

I see !!! I was just doubting its size because I asked ebay shop that do scooby parts and they said it wasn't possible and It does seem like the "mount?!" bit was a bit more roundy and A LOT bigger than the badge ive got on my old sti. will take it to the dealer and ask if i can run the badge outside and check it praps?!

FANKS!!!

any idea which Halfords colour? might have a go at that myself, if you can save me the time and effort of trying to match the colour in the shop!

Laura, speak to David at API. He could advise you if you can change it and even might have a solution.

I think the proper colour is Cerise but i stand to be corrected. Don't think you will get it in Halfords thou, try Hannants Modeling store at address below

THE REPLY......

Laura

Thank you for your interest in API Impreza.

The larger one from the 2001 / 2005 car does not fit the 06 shape car. As far as I am aware there is nothing for you at this time.

Thanks and kind regards
David

Worth trying Revolution, they do OEM badges so may well be able to source you one from Japan

Hi Laura,

you definitely can get them. Monty's subaru dealer in Sheffield have a spec d in their showroom for sale with the pink badge on! Not sure where they got it from though. Give them a ring and ask for Dave in parts. Their number is 0114 221 4333.

Cheers

Richard

£35 thats not bad for the genuine article, less than a tank o fuel. You know you want it.

I'd think you'd find it hard to find a genuine badge for less in the UK than that.

Bizarrely, I bought my STI rad cap from japanparts, and even including postage from Japan it was still £10 cheaper than anywere in the UK, including the dealerships. Its looking the same way for the (MY06?) diffuser that I want, can't find it anywhere cheaper than Japanparts, and thats including the £60-odd postage!

(slight off topic! sorry )

She won't break the bank if she gets the price for the other car.

Though you sure you bought the right car Laura, as you might as well of gone and bought a M3 or maybe a Porsche after all the money you would of spent on the new car.

Are you suggesting that I am being a little advantageous in my pricing? I haven't autotradered it yet.....

No I had this from everyone I know...get an evo, get an M3....driven / had both and I still wanted a scooby.
My version 7 has had soooo much done that I couldn't settle for a standard STI but isn't the doing up bit the fun part? Plus it helps you learn a bit more about them too.

Wanna buy a blue one? Careful lady owner and all that?!

I will admit the price is abit steep, but thats only my thoughts.

You might get lucky and sell it at your desired price or possibly not, but time will only tell.

I did consider buying it awhile ago when I saw it at the school, but then thought about it and I would only go back to a Classic STI RA V-ltd V2 like I had before or even a STI Type R V5 or V6.
