Anyone know the part numbers for these, dealers struggling to find them lol! Also do they fit without removing the foglight on a wrx? thanks for looking.

Could you do me favour and hold it up against the car and take a pic if possible?

Also how do they attach?

Thanks

they just clipin. Takes all of 30 secs to remove the old one and fit new one. Small screwdriver (wrapped in cloth) to lift a tab at the bottom of the cover and just tilit it out.
not sure what you want from photo but can do it if you give more details? eg what i'm i trying to show you, colour, size, fittings?

Think that explains it so no need for a photo, the fog light stays where it is in its mount and the cover replaces the original fog light surround. Looks like I will be spending another £70 soon then if they are that simple to swop over!!!

Was the colour issue down to the dealer giving you the wrong part number?

So is this the correct part number for the OBSIDIAN BLACK or CHRYSTAL GREY covers ?

I'm after Obsidian Black and when i asked my local dealer only a few days ago on the price he said they were about £65 EACH + VAT, so somewhere around the £150 mark for the 2.

I'm guessing they come with STi decals, can these be removed or are they laquered over the top as i don't have an STi ?

Many thanks,

Steve

these numbers were given to me as obp but today in a sealed subaru box with these numbers they have arrived in what i assume is crystal grey so can only work out that it is the code for crystal grey. The price was confirmed to me by the dealer that gave me the wrong code and also the dealer that supplied the part so i'm certain its correct.
The decals are exactly that and are stuck on and i imagine ( ) they would come off very easily, after leaving them in the sun for a wee bit or gently warming them with a hair dryer. Then white spirits to remove any residue

So i guess you are now waiting for the Obsidian Black now. Can you post up the correct part number for the Obsidian Black when you have it please.

Many thanks.

yea i was hoping for that too. It really is 2 min job - find screwdriver and small piece of cloth, wrap cloth around screwdriver, insert screwdriver in slot, thats it! if not i will hopefully post number if dealer can find it tomorrow.

update - spoke to dealer that had apparently given me the wrong number and he had been supplied the number by im parts themselves via email! As he said what chance has he got if they can't get it right. Waiting for dealer to see if they'll now take them back due to there ball55 up!

finally got them! Ain't had a chance to fit them yet as i'll take the sti stickers off first. I seems the code is VW at the end for obsidian black not lr which is crystal grey. I'll put a pic up when finished

The saga continues !! For clarification i am after covers for Obsidian Black but for a MY05 (Blob Eye) Impreza. They ordered a set where the part number ended in VO i believe. These are black, but with a gold fleck, mine is with the green fleck, so i never got to take them out of the dtore. Glad i checked before i paid for them though.

I have left it with the parts man to find the right number, but not convinced yet!!

So, before i go around the houses again, does anyone have the part number for MY05 Fog Light covers in Obsidian Black with the green fleck .

Quick Reply: my06 foglight/sti covers?
