Wot year and type do you have, I have a ninja back box on my 05 WRX available from Scoobyworld, not too loud but it gives that nice burble sound.

Don't forget any aftermarket BB will void your warranty, unless it's either a WR sport or a Prodrive from subaru, HTH.

No it doesn't !!! Only if a modification has contributed towards the part/parts failure will it affect the warranty. The back box alone will not cause any harm to the car.

Have you checked this with Subaru? I'm sure they might say something different. Anything to get out of paying warranty.

I'd probably go for a prodrive back box on a spec D. Will give you a bit more noise without looking out of place on a new car and without being too loud. Other alternatives are the Scoobysport or Hayward and Scott, rolled lip 3.5inch exit. Just avoid the larger exit style IMO

If you want just a sound only the backbox is no solution. Problem on your car is center section. I know because I tryed that. Nothing can happen to car with only backbox changing, don't worry.

I have got a Hawkeye MY07 WRX and have changed the back box for a scooby world race box and took my car in for its first inspection 1000miles told the dealer about it and he said that they are not bothered and it wont affect the warranty, And it sounds great when you are giving it the beans..........

scotthldr is correct the part in question the exhaust cannot void the warranty.

For example if the window wipers fail they must prove it was the exhaust that caused it
