Default 07 WRX WHEEL ALINEMENT....???

I got my 07 wrx wheel alinement done by powerstation earlier this week and a few days later changed my tyres to some new pilot sports... but on the motorway today at 70 to 80 mph i felt a slight drifting to the left does this mean my alinement is off or am i being paranoid... or both..Any suggestions or is this perfectly normal...?

A slight drift to the left can be normal as roads have a slight camber to allow for water drainage. Find a straight empty road and drive down the centre line and see if it runs straight.

A good alignment specialist will compensate for the average UK camber. Mine even needed to know my weight and finalised the settings with me in the car.

Silly question but, was it windy? As this may cause the car to drift slightly.

EIRE,
Did Powerstation comment on the standard alignment before they adjusted it? Was it spot on / in spec / out? Just interested.

As to your question, best to let the tyres bed in a bit first (few hundred miles) then see if it's still pulling. Is the wheel straight when you're going straight ahead?

Well PETE N powerstation never said if it was much out or not they just gave me the print out..And when i drive on a straight road and hold the wheel staight it seems to be slightly to the left not exactly level.. Does that mean the alignment is still out...???..

speak to tony on :: wheels-inmotion.co.uk :: camber / kingpin / toe / tracking / geometry / theory / alignment and post the printout, he's a proper geometry geek, he'll be able to answer your questions.

Nope. The guy who set my Scoob up had over 40 years experience in chassis design, suspension and wheel alignment, including training many of the Williams F1 teams engineers and still retained on an annual contract by them. He laughed when I showed him Prodrives best efforts and proceeded to make my car absolutely devastating in the following 2 hours. I couldn't begin to understand everything he spoke to me about that day, but I trusted him to deliver what I asked for and he did, in spades. He'll be among the first people I call if/when I get another fun car.
