Red face SVX Manual conversion??

Hello, first thread, and I have to start with a question. Planning a twin turbo conversion on my SVX, but have been informed that the Auto will melt if I push it over 350hp. Project is aiming for 600hp.
I know that some legacy gearboxes will mate with my 3.3l but can't get reliable input from the states into which one, so I can start fishing for breakers!!.
Anyone out there any ideas which British or Jap spec Legacy I need to get a box from.
Thanks

I cant help you mate, but the thread deserves a bump because I love the SVX!

Back in 93 when I was 17 I used to work in a local small petrol garage (before they all disappeared due to supermarket fuel).

Anyway, some business lady lived nearby and came in often to fill the SVX, it was a service garage so I always filled her up so to speak.

I used to lust over her SVX, and I still think they are damn cool.

SVX Yeah!

By the way, there are some US sites on the SVX, not seen much UK stuff though.

Got the info on the twin turbo conversion from the states, but the manual conversion info is very confusing, as their legacy's are different specs.
Brakes and suspension kits are on the way from there.

Have you got any pics? Would love to see it.

Seems like the SVX did quite well in the states.

It is an absolutly standard UK car at the moment, in a rather unattractive bergundy colour I was going to introduce it to the net after respray and cosmetics are done!!
I am a member of SMACS so it is around and I might get up to Sccoby live in May, before I rip it to pieces for the mods!!.
Thanks for the interest.

Ask here European Forum - The Subaru SVX World Network

I know that it has been done to a uk car, F1_SVX is his user name.
