It looks to me as if there is a scoop in the top section of the headlight!

If you look carefully then youll see that it only needs a new set of lights and maybe grill to sort the looks out. Well, maybe a bumper as well!!

It actually looks better than the road version, specially in the metal !

And yes they are vents above the lights, think they are to replace the bonnet vents !

After seeing all the pics of the normal MY01, I think that this looks a lot better. If they bring out some of the cosmetic changes as options to the MY01 it will sell a lot better IMO.

With the black surrounds on the headlights and those sticky-up door mirrors I think it looks like a panda. Hopefully the panda's dubious record on sexual ability will NOT rub off on Impreza drivers

The bits above the headlamps are the bonnet pins..........

The shiny bits might be bonnet pins, but the dark black bits in the headlight unit (<I>directly</I> above the twin lights) are air intakes.

I think Subaru are taking the **** with the road going version but the rally car is the absolute bollocks even though it looks a bit Ford'ish.

I prefer this to the standard car by a long way. We saw a couple of the new ones at Donington - not impressed. I wonder how long it will be before we get after-market front ends.
