I have just bought a 95' Wrx Import and it is in immaculate condition. I want to install my old system in it that consists of an Alpine amp, 6 cd changer and head unit obviously.

I have seen holes that seem like 6 x 9 holes in the rear. My 4 way pioneer speakers would hopefully be placed in there.

I don't want a base speaker.

The question is where is the best place for my amp and cd changer? My boot is untouched with carpet like material all around with a hard plastic base that is nicely moulded to the interior of the boot if you see what I mean... I would not want to spoil this.

Please help *:-)

My CD changer is to the side of the boot and the carpet is just lifted up and lies against the side of the changer now.

I don't have an amp....yet

Could mount the amp on the seat backs. SOME 6x9s go straight in. Most will go in but you may have to cut.

I fitted a 10 disc Kenwood CD changer to the underside of my passenger seat. Seat moves back and forth no probs plus doesn't skip due to this location.

I got a Kenwood head unit for my MY94 but found that it sounded better with uprated speakers.

If you don't want to touch the boot, then you can put the changer under the passenger seat and the amp under the driver's seat. Or, to be different, vice versa
