Im pleased for u but i dont get these results, they seem very favourable to the Car owners lately, my old 98 STi type r got 297bhp and she had more than that, and was running fine, had full decat exhaust, turbo up pipe, blitz induction,. equal length headers, Apexi PFC mapped by Andy F, so how come so many guys seem to be gettin over 300 with pretty ****all mods

326bhp @7,500 rpm from my STi V3 with nothing more than a decat and a K&N - 20 cars there on the day, the new STi 9's were producing bang on the factory power. Chap running the rolling road wanted to know what on earth had been done to the car to get this power? He also was well impressed at how it revved, didn't think it was going to stop..Suspect this is all down to the V3 model, there was a tidy V5 there as well and it managed just under 290 bhp.

The figures are

306BHP @6493rpm (109mph)
283.5 lbft torque

Does this sound ok?
He said my boost was slightly erratic but nothing to be concerned about.

I would say his figures are coming from yet another dyno giving a high untrue output

Its a pity there is so much variaton in bhp figures on them

had my uk 98 turbo done at motorscope on there new dastek dyno got 285bhp and 291ft/lbs torque which sounds about right considering its on a td04

mods are apexi pfc mapped by paul blamire , 550cc injectors full decat tsl group n system ,ramair ind kit and fmic and megan tubular heat wrapped manifold and up pipe

got a td05 16g to go on next and aeromotive fpr so looking for around 330bp and more torque
