Cheap Fuel - Be afraid.
The supermarkets finally get found out !
It was only a matter of time, yes they buy from multiple sources -some good some very bad, it's pot luck.
Hopefully Subaru owners now realise you get what you pay for.
I phoned Subaru (2005) and they recommended staying well clear of Supermarket SU as the quality of SM fuel unpredictable. Honda said the same thing when I asked about my Accord Type R years ago, in fact they stated very strongly, don't use cheap supermarket fuel it can damage the sensors and the cat.
Looking at the BBC website - Crazy, a guy with a £60k Merc trying to save pennies by filling up with supercrap, now faced with a £1500 bill, what a muppet.
People who stuik with BP or Shell seem fine. (from BBC site).
Wife informed and scolded, no more ADSA fuel for the Skoda.
