Default 10 Weeks and £3.5k+ Down LOL (Not including fuel)

Deary me the scoobs are not the cheapest cars to run!

Had the scoob 10 weeks now - Had clifford concept alarm on it, intellistart £500 in total, BOV + Speedo converter and fitting = £440 odd, £1440 Decat/remap/fuel pump/exhaust, 4x New yokohama parada spec-2's £350, and now a 3 year/30k service for like £400 lol

+ not to mention fuel/octane booster/oil/wr1 grille/mudflaps/guages etc.

is it worth it?!

CORSE IT IS

Just like to add, that most of that is self inflicted lol

It was done at powerstation, came to £1440 in total, however - I had previously had the car mapped, which took the remap down from around £550+vat to £240+vat, so that was a major saving!

It now has a full 3" Miltek exhaust system, including the twin scroll downpipe etc, a bunch of legends live at powerstation, cant do enough for you, and if you dont need something, they will tell you!

Sign me up for that £175 30k service, iirc the 30k service is one of the most major services your car goes through, £175 is a little on the "too much value for money" side!

I know what you mean. I blew close to £8k on mine last year.

Don't know where that money came from, but it went all on the car, self inflicted too. At least i know what 370bhp feels like

good for you multijfj, your young and want to spend your cash on your car. i say go for it fella. better than buying a saxo and chavving it up real good lol.

in comparison i got my current my99 uk turbo in december as an early xmas pressy for myself, and that ows me £400 for a full service and new radiator (had a leek in old one), 210 for front discs and pads, £300 for 3" centre decat and 4.5" jap backbox (gotsta have me choons lol), £260 ( a real bargain off ebay) for 4 brandnew 215/40/17 toyo proxes r tyres, £90 for some alpine sps-17c2 6" coaxials for the rear sounds, £70 for a second hand sony cdx mp-70 headunit lol.

christ thats not including fuel, insurance, and the car tax that is due next month. foofing eck, no wonder i wanna re-mortgage

It is amazing how it is possible to "justify" spending on the car amounts you wouldn't dream on spending on other things. My wife wants some carpet in the house, I'm getting used to bare floorboards now!!
