Question

Is there any visual difference (including something on the egine etc) between;
Type R (GC8E2DD) and
Type RA (GC8E27D)

Obviously, the vehicle ID plate will, but is there any thing else?

Talking

Are you talking about visual differences on the car or the engine itself?

If you mean the car, it should be easy as the Type-R is a two door and the RA a four door shell.

BTW, there are two RA derivatives, the WRX-RA and STi-RA.

Hope I haven't just made a muppet of myself by answering your question!

Andrew.

I've seen the car, and was told its a Type R Jap import. Drove really well. I just asked the guy on the phone what the vehicle ID plate said just now. He said GC8E27D which matches to a Type RA, not a type R.

Hence my confussion as GC8E4DD is the 4 door type RA. I would like to know what I may be buying.

NB - These are all v-limited versions.
