Well, as Joey says, its a VI Makinen.
Premium for my GSR was about £1500. For the Makinen, I think it is about £300 more. But thats up until my new premium, the current rates dont take into account my accident.

Hi all,
Thanks for the kind words
It wasn't a nice experience, but it happened, so I move on. Like Steve said, every cloud has a silver lining, and my silver lining is an Evo VI Makinen, which I picked up last night. I am still running it in, but suffice to say, I am a happy bunny
I went to buy a digital camera today, but the guy in Dixons was like a pudle of puke, he had no idea whatsoever, so i will buy one tommorow and put it up on the net over the weekend.
If anyone is at the Essex meet this weekend, you will see it
It rocks

Cem,
Glad you like your new Mac. Shame about the old one, but as you say, you move on. And you've moved on nicely I must say.
You surely didn't expect someone in Dixons to know anything about Cameras?

quick tip on digital cameras...
If you are interested in a high quality/high resolution digital camera then ignore this.
If however you are interested in something relatively cheap and cheerful you may be interested in the creative web cam go. I recently bought one. max resolution is 640 x 480
The neat feature is that you can link it to your PC and us it as a security camera. Mine is pointing at my garage door. It only records when it detects movement and you can adjust sensitivity of what it detects. In the first month or so I got mug shots of all the local cats !!
For the really paranoid (me? never!) you can set it up to e-mail you what it records. So you can get a picture of the guy breaking into your house some where safe before he nicks your PC and car keys.
I was going to set this up when I got ADSL but my line failed the test. *ugger!
If you're smart you may be able to buy a better quality camera with a USB port and the security software separately. This way you get the best of both worlds!
