Default ANITHER MUD FLAP QUERY

I want some flaps for my 03 STi, i have been told that the new age ones will fit. Before i fork out for them i thought i had better run it past you lot first.

If they will fit will i have to drill loads of holes in my car ? and are they a pain in the ar$e to fit?

Cheers

depends what ones you go for, the Subaru ones require one hole to be drilled, I fitted a Prodrive set last week, that require no drilling but expect to pay up to £300 for a set.

Not sure on the cheaper alternatives TBH, but i think most will require at least one hole to be drilled

Hi Donna, the ones from Mud Ban(e Bay) dont require drilling. you can fit them without taking your wheels off .

Mudban ones (as above) cost about £50 on ebay, no drilling required either. That's what i've got.

Prodrive flaps from your friendly dealer, as cookstar said no drilling and easy to fit with the wheels still fitted.
Just use loads of copperslip on the screws and nuts.

If you are buying ebay price ones then theres mud-ban (ebay) and performance creations (who's in bolton)
Performance Creations ~ Rallyflapz, Slampanelz, Interior Exterior Car Styling

performance creations has done group buys before.

Is there any difference between the two suppliers, they both look very similar.
Do either of them offer 2 mounting points so you can have them a little higher rather than road dragging ?

I'd certainly be interested in a set too - maybe see if we can get em for the 48quid in the group buy?

Yeah, the performance creations ones off ebay are good value. Has mine on over a year, without hitch.

Drilling is optional, but i did, because i couldn't get the screw in. Mind you, bent two drill bits. That metal is super-tough.
