Cool oooo.... that was fun!

(flame suit on)

just been for a visit to me mams, and afterwards thought il go for a little drive, nowt enthusiastic, just wasting whats left in my tank before i fill up in the morning.

clear road. set of lights, just me there, cars warmed up, no 5-0 about.

bugger it.

sat at 3.5k revs, lights go green, lets see how fast this son-a-bitch go.

wow, thats the first time ive actually seen this cars 0-60, in the pouring rain, no wheelspin, it was fast. redlined first, redlined second, hit just over 60, calmed down to 40 dropped her in forth, was pleasently inspired. pootled home with a grin on my face.

the end

andy

p.s. the road was straight, a 40mph limit hence flame suit for the wrinkleys...

If you have a cap on make sure it's back to front - thats what the gap in the seat back is for lol.

Good buzz when a launch works perfectly isn't it Scared the life outa myself first time I did it as I really wasn't expecting to take off quite that quickly.

I go for about 4k revs, usually get a bit of clutch smell in the cabin just to remind me not to do it too often

dont think there was, sat it at 3.5k revs, dropped the clutch, give the loud pedal a hammering, and it sorta sat at around 5k revs while the car sped off, then to the redline. it was weird, but a nice weird, as the clutch on my old wrx slipped like **** and stank the cabin out. this left a little smell reminding me that if i do it too often, she'll pack up and **** off

andy

p.s. - pslewis, i suppose thats as tolerant as your gonna get so il appreciate your comment
