Default Newage STI front splitter

I am looking out for an STI splitter and can't decide which one is suitable.

It has to be in black and I prefer one that doesn't require painting. I like the one which has a small silver badge in the centre but can't find anywhere that sells it(probably too expensive anyway).

It has to be cheap (as always with me) and i'm not after a carbon(cost) one, aslong as it won't shatter when squatting bugs with it.

Any pics/advice/reccomendations appreciated.

Yeh, that's the one I like but I reckon it's out of my budget.

139.99, now that seems a fair price.

Got mine from HT Auto's too. Decent quality, minimal prep to spray up (satin black) and all the holes match up for fitting. 100quid inc delivery and either spray yourself with Holts Satin black from Halfrauds (several thin even coats) or cost me 20quid to get sprayed up and fitted. Looks good (as pics above) and no complaints at all

I went for the Scott Lowe one. Easy to fit and does not need painting (on a black car anyway).

Might be worth you trying to set up a Group Buy for it. People are always interested in these and you might save a few quid.

Don't know exactly, but lOOking at CW's above, that seems in a matt finish, whereas the SL one is shinier.

(Could be that mine is on a black car, so less noticeable)

i think the scott lowe one comes with stainless brackets for the fixing points whereas the HT autos has moulded firbeglass at these points.

on the HT autos one you can see where the master mould has been taken from an original with brackets, as the rivet head is moulded as part of their splitter but does nothing

this is nothing against the HT autos one by the way, as i bought one in their last group buy and i've nothing but praise for the splitter, quality and sales service

i don't suppose it makes any difference with the 2 types of fixing points either

here's the splitter, the brackets i've pointed to in red would be the stainless fixings at a guess. maybe the yellow arrowed on aswell.

Dude. Read Post #9 (CW's) and tell me where he said he painted it?!

A few others Dave/Codie said they painted theirs.

Hi Bob

Here are a few pics of the Revolution Newage STI splitter fitted to one of our customers cars

The splitters are all finished in satin black and come with metal brackets and fixings same as a O.E one would.

Will be doing a group buy very soon !!

Hope this helps
