Why don't you buy a little Clio? No point in having a fast car

The journeys you describe are the worst for any car, engine not up to temperature, stop start wear on brakes and clutch etc. Think of it as an excuse to take the car out for a blast to lose the cobwebs

I bet most Imprezas do those kind of journeys anyway!
Don't worry, just use a quality oil with a grade such as 5w40 or 10w40, don't go abov 3000rpm until the engine is upto temp (about 3-4 miles/5-10mins after the water is upto temp ) and you WILL be fine.
Unfortunately, this means you'll never actually use the perfromance though!

Just put mine away in the garage, under a blanket until the snow clears! So, so sad.

the car is always warmed up and cooled down but i was worried about the short runs it does, its happened with all my cars but with this one being a turbo and modified i was unsure, i took her round a m8 the other day who got a W plate scooby and he was very jelous of it lol, but at least he can do the servicing for me
