Did you not even bothered using the search function? 90% of people on here use V-Power, the rest use tesco 99, they are both the same really from what I have experianced, but BP Ultimate = ****

We're not having a dig mate, it's just that this subject, along with many other has been covered many times over previously. If I need to ask a question, I use the search function first. Once I have exhausted that avenue only then will a make a post.

It just saves re-post after re-post and re-post.

If you can't get V Power or Tesco 99 then I would suggest using BP Ultimate or Esso SUL (both are 97 RON) along with some octane booster.

Jesus guys, like you havn't asked 'simple' questions before!

If your car is pretty much standard (exhaust, filter mods only) then any super unleaded will be fine. Some are obviously better than others, but you shouldn't have any problems. Have heard reports of BP Ultimate being very poor quality though.
If you are really worried, you can have your ecu remapped to suit which ever fuel you are likely to use.

Assuming you mean Dudley in the Midlands & not the one on Tyneside then you have 3 Shell stations within 5 miles of you.

West Bromwich
(distance: 3.5 mi)
Dudley Street
GB - West Bromwich B70 9LS
Tel: 0121 500 2970

Wall Heath Service Station
(distance: 4.0 mi)
8 Kidderminster Road
GB - Kingswinford DY6 0EU
Tel: 01384 401911

Stourbridge
(distance: 4.8 mi)
Hagley Road
GB - Old Swinford Stourbridge DY8 2JL
Tel: 01384 445980

Result of the search*in Dudley and the surrounding area

You don't state what year the car is, and whether any mods?

I had a MY98 for 8 years from new and always ran it on Morrisons normal unleaded. 93k miles, and never had any problems apart from a bit of piston slap when cold, but that was there almost from day 1.

Of coarse, if the car is (heavily) modded, then I would perhaps take the advice of others on the forum
