What r they polishing marks from a machine polish?
If so try T-cut on them or try giving it a coat of wax ( wipe on and off stuff)

Don't use t-cut! It takes so much effort to remove that you end up adding more swirls!
Use Mequiars clay bar followed by a coat of tech wax.
Autoglym polish is also good at removing swirls.

Swissol Cleaner Fluid, worked for me. It uses polishing oils so won`t in any way harm you paintwork.

Get yourself a bottle of the autoglym ever shine,{this works as a protector against discolouring and stone chips}leave it for 2 hrs buff off then wax it with ultra deep shine. The results are amazing.
Everyone comments on the shine trust me its a female thing

Me and scoobygav detailed his G/F`S car by PC - now that had swirls theres no point slapping loads of wax with fillers in - just get a PC and remove the defects - job done

This is a 50/50 split where the right hand side had also suffered a football mark as you can see the roundness

this is wing before

this is wing after
