Just curious, as I haven't seen that combo on a P1 yet. Not sure if it would work, but someone said you could get them.

Yes the P1 18" OZ comes in gold as well as titanium. I prefer the titanium, but as thats the std colour on P1 wheels, maybe some prefer "to go for gold" to set it off?

One guy on here did, search back a few weeks

Mine was in for a service yesterday and there was a P1 in the showroom waiting for collection with O.Z 18" in gold. What I couldnt figure is that over the wheel there was a clearance of about 50-75mm where as on my car MY00, I've just fitted 18" rims and the clearance is half that. Anyway, I prefer the P1 with anthracite

Russell,

I was talking to Spike about your wheels, he's well impressed!

Personally I'd love to see them (even if I can't afford them) Get something posted PDQ (please)

Not allowed to get any gold wheels because they are "tacky" (Oh and because of some house we have to pay for at the end of the month or something)

I know what you mean. I have just put a deposit down on a new house and although I want all manner of upgrades for my UK MY99, I have been "advised" that furniture for the new house is the preferred option!!

Russell - post you sombitch, post!

JDS - I've just bought a house, my settee just arrived, so now I'm saving up for something. Not sure what.

STi V6, P1 or (looks around nervously) maybe's another make of car.

If anyone has a pic they can post showing a P1 with anthracite 18" I'd appreciate it too.

Cool

Russell,

car looks well cool. Where did you get the tinting done - somewhere in Gloucester?

Cheers,

Matt

Thank you very much.

The picture were taken in a bit of a huury and are low res.

In the flesh the car looks the dogs, esp. with the tints.

I'm at Powerstation Saturday if u want a closer look. There's plenty more to see.....

Also the wheel centres have now been fitted.
Well done Prodrive for sending the wheels without the centres !???

thanks

tints were done at Listers Worcs by a contact they have, who does the Queen's cars apparently.

Top job but expensive, but worth every penny as it sets it off beautifully

Well done Mattski

Russ, thats one nice car! Headlight conversion too ?

I'm trying to persuade myself to part with the cash for one. That might have swung it.

lovely car isn't it chaps.. and it's
got gold wheels too.... there's another
post around here somewhere with non-believers! If ever there was any proof
that gold works this is it. Oh, and
the little blue WRC on my main page ;o)

I normally don't like the 4 headlight conversion but must confess that it does look absolutely fab in blue.

lucky g*t

And what a coooool plate too.

What colours are the centres on the wheels - could've sworn I've seen silver centres on gold wheels before. Maybe's it was Pete and his Croney's who had them.

Now lets see some 18" anthracite wheels so we can start a big barney as to who likes what(!)

The centres are gold.

Headlight conversion is more than just for looks. The improvement in lighting is excellent as the P1 spots are Cr*p compared to PIAAS

Glad u like the car

Cheers

Russell

ps You should see the Ice install !!!

Sorry mate, completely skint now. Got fed up paying the mortgage so decided to kick out the missus and kids, sell up and live in a cardboard box and blow all the money on the car. Best decision I ever made..........??!!
