I have one too lol
what you wanna know?
very rare model ( compared to most bug eyes)
basically a type UK STi 2.0 with a prodrive front bumper with wraparound fog covers, a different grill with no STi badge, and a high level STi spoiler ( same as later STis had)
They didnt all come with the PPP and are insured as 'bodykitted' standard STIs
very nice looking cars, best of the range in my opinion ( unbiased natch lol)

spec and performance are the same as the standard STi of the same year, i.e forged pistons ( last year 2002 where forged pistons were used in UK STis) blue interior, black carpet, intercooler water spray, brembo brakes, black cased projector beam style headlamps, adjustable shift light on rev counter, 6 spd box, no DCCD.

differences are cosmetic spoiler and front bumper unless PPP was fitted

hope that clears it up

As Timmy said really, i think the black ones were limited to only 1000, 265bhp as std, mine is insured as a prodrive type UK, depends where you go. Oh and don't forget the different front lights.

black like mine were limited to 100 actually so i believe, and the lights are actually the same as the standard STi, the 'prodrive lights' as fitted to UK300 etc are not the ones on the prodrive style bugeye, contraray to what many people seem to think

Yep, the Black/Blue Mica was only produced for 100 cars. So very rare indeed.

Here's mine.

I have a mere WRX Bugeye (albeit modded to 273bhp).

When I bought the car the garage didn't know what kind of bodykit was fitted to it - do you reckon it's Prodrive ? (Couldn't see it on their site).

Any thoughts much appreciated !
