Stolen last night

Anyone who owns any Highpowered car should beware.
Until 22.10 Fr1 30/11/01 I was the very proud owner of a T plate Impreza Turbo. With what has happened to me I hope you all take note.
I was in my home having a drink with a mate when a heard a popping sound, I ran with 9Iron in hand to see my pride and joy been taken off my drive by two B*****ds, they cooler drove off. I took some time to realise just what had happened and here it is.
They broke into my nextdoor neighbours can my mates moved then out of the way, opened my from door lifted the keys and were away in about 30 seconds. This I have been informed by Police and Insurance Companies is now VERY common!
Moral of story don't EVER leave your keys including spare set down stairs as these scum don't care.
I will most likely loose upwards of 2K with the insurance company as they do like to screw you

Just a thought - was your scooby green? If so check out the following thread. If your car was stolen Friday night in Sheffield, it could well have been in Surrey today!

Sorry about your news. However surely the news about keys must be getting through by now, treat them as the car itself and keep locked away. Good point about the insurance loss, some people say they wouldn't want the car back, but from personal experience last Xmas on MY00 £4K was a final "kick in the knackers" after losing the car. Tracker, tracker, tracker.

I have heard some people say leave your keys out on display so as not to put your family's safety at risk?
I was discussing this with my mum only the other night as someone round the corner was broken in to for the keys to their sport's car and my mum is worried because my dad works nights.
