Default Launch Dangers.

Are there any?

Been told mixed things, however a well respected subaru expert told me that there are not really any dangers apart from possibly stripping the teeth off 2nd gear on a standard clutch

Had a launching session the other day as my new clutch has bedded in nicely (excedy organic). No smell, no burn, just excellent engagement every time....will post a vid as soon as I can figure out how to blur out/hide the licence plate.

a full on launch will be the most power a gearbox will ever have to take, and the slamming in to second wont help thing.

the gearboxes are good, but simply can only take so much, in a 04 impreza i wouldnt worry too much, but it still could go bang, just like any other gear box in any other car
