I put BP ultimate in the tank on my jap sti 8, and it absolutly, absolutly ****ed the car. It kept making the car run in limp mode giving me no boost as it didnt think the petrol was good enough for car, whenever i reset my ecu, drove about 20 miles again with the BP ultimate in again, and bam 20 miles later, lost the boost and in limp mode again.
Reset ecu, took it very steady, filled it with vpower, never used anything else since except vpower and T99, low and behold, car boosts fine, never gives up.
VPOWER + T99 for the win.

no, it will learn about the new fuel, my needed to be reset because I wanted instant recognition to V-Power, but if you havnt lost any boost etc. yours will be fine, it will just learn the new parameters for v-power. I now carry round in my boot a can of octane booster incase I cant find a shell garage!
So, it shouldnt need a reset, mine was just a stupidly extreme case!

same as above i have had an over bosst problem for 4 months now and it turned out to be the fact that i was using f...ing texaco super. WHAT A MISTAKE. DO NOT, DO NOT, DO NOT use anything apart from shell V POWER.
fill up the car with v power for at least 2 fill to make sure all previous fuel is out of the system, then take the battery off for at least 2 hours so it resets the ecu and the car will be running at it best now. even on uk cars
i run an imported impreza with 275 bhp ish and this is the only fuel it will run on

Haha i drove 1100 miles through europe and spent about £300 on fuel to get my car used to V-power in 2 days. Was awesome, but it loves it now!
95% of petrol stations in europe are shell
