Hi everyone

I own a MY04 WRX and do 20,000 miles a year of town and motorway driving.

How much oil does your car consume over a 10,000 mile period?

My last 03 used to use about a litre every 2k and had done since new, sold it at 30k and it seemed to be using a little bit less when i sold it.My 06 STI dosen't use any and has covered 5k so far....

thanks powerman. From what I have been reading that sounds about right. My WRX use more oil than any other car I have ever owned before.

my newage sti uses nothing but then again i change the oil every 3000 miles

My M98 UK Turbo never used any oil ever. My STi6 uses about 0.5 litre every 7,500 miles.

my93 wrx import doesnt use a drop hard to believe but its true it hasnt dropped a ml on the the dipstick

my00 uk turbo hardly uses any at all ,got 48k on it now and would say over about 10k it may use a litre -probably the best car ive ever had for oil consumption to be fair,its all relative to how your cars are driven/serviced though so theres always gonna be differences between cars.
