Oh dear - doesn't say much for the voting public.
Surely the greatest cars of all time should be mostly supercars, not affordable pocket rockets?

I guess to the like of EVo supercars must get boring - going from a supercar to a clio trophy must feel like going go karting. It's also fun to have to actually drive a car to get speed rather just pressing the loud pedal

its well known that renault pay magazines and telly programmes such as evo 5th gear to big up their tinny breakdown within 3 months products, such a placing was not " une surprise!"

So how was this list decided, cant be right a bloody P1 with a chocolate engine in 17th place!!
Who are these EVO people? If they knew anything about cars the Type R would easily be in the the top ten.
Obviously it must be for UK only cars.
I am starting to get really fed up with these tin-pot polls, there was one last year in Used Car Buyer for the ultimate Impreza that was won by the P1 as well.
I reckon these magazine people have a hidden agenda (or are given a bung).

Knowing EVO magazine I believe they would have asked car enthusiast's, meaning people that know what a Type R is.
As you say this is not the first time the p1 has come out on top in car related polls perhaps one day the Type R owner's will just accept that general opinion is that the p1 was a better car.
Dont hate and be envious of the p1, I love Type R's but at the end of the day there must be a genuine reason why the p1 always comes out on top.
All I can say is if those pistons are made of Chocolate it must be some pretty damn tasty Belgium choccy.

Cant see how anyone can take this list seriously - lots of cars in the list 'normal' people could never afford to buy - Therefore, it has little cred in my eyes.
Given up buying EVO mag a long time ago, - it's written for a pile of dreamers. hopeful's who will win the loto! Not worth the paper it's written on imo!
Stick that in u pipe n smoke it evo, and its readers!

If I remember correctly there was a list of cars on the evo website and you had to rank them in order of your favourite - there wasnt a free choice hence P1 in the list and no Type R.
I picked Mk1 Escort rs1600/rs1800 - for greatest sideways fun and that didnt make the top 50 !!

Glad to see the old Carrera 2.7 RS ranks high up there. I wouldn't put a NSX-R above it though and definetly don't agree about a Integra being so highly rated.

There's some odd ***** in there.
OK, integrale's are great, but 4th? Park an RS4 next to an Integrale and i'm sure most people would take the RS4.
205 GTi and Clio and Integra?

Integrale is far, far better to drive in that it handles wonderfully. Would i want to drive across Europe in one? No. Would I choose it over the RS4 for a bit of back lane fun or a track day? Every time. Drive both and see.
Clearly one is 20 years older and from a different price range/ type of car, but this is EVO and they will be attempting to define greatness in terms of "EVOness"
